Exchange 2003/2007 coexistence
Hi all There is an Exchange 2003 organization with a front end/back end server scenario. An exchange 2007 client access server and a mailbox server had been installed into the existing exchange organization. Exchange 2003 users can use outlook anywhere using the exchange 2003 front end server or the new client access server. Both is working. But if he's using the exchange 2003 front end server, he will not be able to open a shared exchange 2007 calendar. Doing the same using the client access server works. Technet says: Using an Exchange Server 2003 front-end server together with an Exchange 2007 Mailbox server is not supported. Is my issue related to that? Any suggestion would be appreciated. Why not use the Exchange 2007 CAS server instead? That should be step 1 if you're going to do a transition to Exchange 2007Jonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Configuration | MCITP: EMA | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog

Hi Peter I Comeacross similar issues, here you need to do is, use exchange 2007 CAS to access mails and public folders in exchange 2003 public folder properties > replication add exchange 2007, this will replicate all the public folders, oab etc use exchange 2007 CAS server.
