Exchange 2003, queued mails of X400 are not processed
Hi, I have a client, Banco Mercantil, they have a Exchange Server 2003 organization, and during this weekend, they have a problem with one of the Exchange Server 2003 of La Paz Branch, and when the problem was solved, these server have many mails queued (most of those mails are X400 mails), whe move the queue to another folder and recreate the queue folder Exchange works fine again, but this morning they have a new problem and again the queue folder has many X 400 mails and SMTP mails too!. When they moved the queued mails to another folder and restarted with an empty queue, the Exchange Server works fine again, then they copied the SMTP mails from the new folder to the queue manually and those mails are not sent. I need to solve this problem urgently. Mercantil SAnta Cruz does not have any exchange 5.5 in their organization, but they use public folder.Raulito

Is there anything in the event log? It sounds like you have some kind of connectivity issue. If you can't get any information from the queue viewer or the event log, you might try turning up protocol logging and looking there. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." . Can you telnet to port 25 of the server named in the MX record for the messages stuck in queue? -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." . Yes, and it's work!. The problem is not on SMTP queue or mails, the problem are in the public folder replication mails in X400 protocol, these mails are queuing and those mails are raising the network bandwidth, until the net is collapsed between branches.Raulito
