Exchange 2003, email forward bounces back
Hello,I have a problem with Exchange Server 2003, I cannot seem to forward emails. heres the situation: The user can email their "Home Address" from the work's address through exchange and can recieve the email. The user has emailed their work address from their home address and recieved the email I have emailed the users home address from a webmail account successfully. I have created a "contact" on exchange, given it the users home email address, and accessed the users work account and set it to forward a copy (and post to the users work mailbox) all emails. However, I did the other day, email the user from within the system and it emailed to their work inbox and home inbox, however when I email from a web browser outside the network, the webmail gets a bounceback of message undeliverable?Has anyone ever come across this type of problem before?

Hi, First I'd like to clarify the issue.Contact cannot forward emails,is that true? " accessed the users work account and set it to forward a copy (and post to the users work mailbox) all emails." Do you mean that contact set rules on their own email address to forward emails to the contact email address? If contactA has email address user@A.com, also contact A has email address user@B.com A.com is Exchange related domain,B.com is the domain which is hosting its account. We set rules on user@b.com to forward emails to user@A.com ,is that true? Then how did you create the rule? What is the NDR?Regards,Xiu
