Hi Glen,Quick way is to trigger Exchange uninstallation process (don't uninstall Exchange Server but you may uninstall colobration services and other non-required components) and while getting component selection page, you can see or uninstall these components....How to Uninstall Exchange 2000 Serverhttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998341(EXCHG.65).aspxhttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/Cc750236.dep09_big(en-us,TechNet.10).gifAmit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Hello,Thank you for the reply. When Itrigger theuninstallation process and select the'Change' option from the drop down boxunder the 'Action'headingfor 'Microsoft Exchange 2000' in the Installation Wizard, for allof the components I listed in my original postthe only actions available for them are 'None' or 'Install'. Does this confirm that the components are not installed? Also, the Microsoft Exchange Chat Service component is not listed at all in the Installation Wizard. Does that mean it's installed or not? Thanks.

Hi Glen,If it shows None/Install in Action then those components are not installed.Chat Service component supposed to be listed there even if it is installed or not. Anyway check "First Administrative Groups" and make sure that Chat Communities option is NOT listed inside to confirm that it is not installed in organization. If it is Chat service installed then it should show Chat Communities listed there...http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315210Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
