Exchange 07 is eating our bandwidth..
Hi all, I have 2 MB ADSL connection line to the internet using CISCO ADSL router. Also I have CISCO PIX as firewall in addition to ISA 2006. I belive thatExchange 07 server is eating the intrenet bandwidth from the others in a way that the usersfeel that there is no internet available!! (very very slow especially when sending big emails with attachments). is there any way so we can set less bandwidth priority for the exchange server? if you have any other solution or suggestion, please inform me.. Thanx

Hi,Have a look at this 3rd party tool for ISA 2006 http://www.bsplitter.com/download.aspx with that tool you can limit bandwidths. Another question you can ask yourself who is sending a lot of mails ? Turn on some logging to check if no virus or something is abusing your network.Regards,Johan blog: www.johanveldhuis.nl
