Exchange 07 STRANGE issues
I have been seeing some odd issues on a new install of exchange 07. First thingI saw was some strange configuration issues. IE, not showing the databases in the list, not finding objects that kind of thing. Next, I change it to point to our other DC and got the config stuff to clear up. Or so I thought, now when I try and move a mailbox over from exchange 03, I get a error saying it cannot find the mailbox database "First Storage Group\Mailbox Database." It worked at one point as I managed to move one mailbox to test with. It looks to be VERY flakey... Anyone else having issues like this? Or have any suggestions?

I went back this morning and got some screen captures of the errors I am seeing. The first one only comes up when I point ECM's configuration DC to our second DC which happenes to be the box running exchange 03, once i point back to the other DC it doesnt come up. You do not have permissions to read the security descriptor on CN=MS-EXCHANGE,CN=Servers,CN=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT),CN=Administrative Groups,CN=MainStreetChecks,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=msc,DC=msft. It was running command 'get-ExchangeAdministrator'. Also, when I am pointed at that DC if I go to look at the storage groups and databases, it wont load the list. But if I look at our main DC it works fine. When I try to move a mailbox, no matter which DC I am pointed at, I get this error. Summary: 1 item(s). 0 succeeded, 1 failed. Elapsed time: 00:00:00 Mike HughesFailed Error:The specified mailbox database "MS-EXCHANGE\First Storage Group\Mailbox Database" does not exist. Thanks
