Exchange - Event ID 6 Exchange Certificate

Hi,

(There may be other posts with this Event ID but none that I can find match the error I am getting)

My exchange server's Certificate has expired, I went to add a new certificate to exchange by using powershell, and this error appeared in Event Viewer.

Cmdlet failed. Cmdlet Import-ExchangeCertificate, parameters {Server=ExchangeServer, FileData={Parameter value is too large.}}.

I don't have any idea what it is reffering to when it says "FileData={Parameter value is too large}}"

Also along with this error, I can't seem to complete the request when adding a new certificate to Exchange, It gives off a "Thumbprint already exists" error so It can't complete the request,

Any help on either of these issues would be greatly appreciated.

You've told us the error but not what you did to cause the error.  Post your entire process, everything that you did, in detail.

Hello,

Why not create a new ssl certificate on your exchange server?

I suggest you run EXBPA against your exchange server health.

Besides, please describe your cmdlet detailed.
