We use BackupExec to Backup our Mailboxes, now we just want to recover one and only ONE Mailbox.

i restored the .EDB file, mounted it to the Recovery Database, now we need a PST file from one specific user mailbox and ONLY this mailbox, how is this possible ?

Since this tool BackupExec is provided by Symantec, I'm not familiar with it. I think the better approach is the provider of this tool.

Try to restore mailbox in different database:

- Create user A on your database (not recover database ) recover user B in recover database.
- Restore-Mailbox Identity UserA RecoveryDatabase RecoverDB RecoveryMailbox UserB
- Export user A to pst.

As an alternative, you can test this automated tool i.e. http://www.exchange2010recovery.net which lets you to Export multiple mailboxes from Exchange Server to PST files.

There is no way from Exchange Management Shell but have a few third party programs to do it. Example http://www.lepide.com/exchange-manager/animated.html and http://www.softmagnat.com/edb-to-pst-converter.html

You can export single or multiple user mailboxes from Exchange backup edb file to PST using third party tools. Refer to http://www.datarepairtools.com/exchange-recovery.html to know about Exchange Server Recovery Tool which is able to export Exchange edb mailbox to pst instantly.

You can use Export_mailbox cmdlet for this .But its shortcoming is that, you should have sufficient permissions to use it and also this cmdlet does not export those mailboxes which have too many corrupt items.

So in this scenario, it would be better to take help from a professional tool like Stellar Phoenix Mailbox Exchange Recovery, as  this software allow you to choose any particular mailbox from edb file to be exported and save it as a PST.
