Exchange2003 and Exchange2007
I have Exchange2003 Server. My Smarthost is in DMZ. I Installed an Exchange2007 Server. I moved one user's mail box to E2k7. Users from Exchange E2k3 can send to Outside but can't to E2k7 user. Users from E2k3 can recieve from Outside and E2k7 user. Users from Exchange 2Ek7 can send to Outside and to E2k3 user. User from Exchange E2k7 can't recieve from Outside and E2k3 user. I created RGC biderectional with scope 1then 100.I can see mails from Outside and E2k3 is in the Queue of E2k3Server -( E2k3-E2k7 (Routing Group Connector) ) - but its not delivering to the mailbox. Please help me to tackle this problem

Have you got message tracking enabled? If so, track the messages in question and see where the last stop/holdup is and post it. I'll assume you've got a hub transport server hosting the RGC conntector to 03, also have you defined a send connector for 07 internet mail? If not, you'll need to do that and either set it it to forward to your smarthost or go out directly with the new-sendconnector cmdlet.

Thank you for your helping mentality I hav HTS hosting RGC to E2k3 and cnfgrd send connector 4 E2k7 to forward to smarthost. But, see, I can send from E2k7 to outside and to E2k3. The prob is I can't recieve from both outside and e2k3.

Is your MX record pointing at your Exchange 07 server? If so, have you defined a recieve connector that allows anonymous access? There isn't one on a HT by default.

Hi Dear Friend I solved the problem. I deleted all the routing group connector and created one RGC from CAS and set the Connector. Set-RoutingGroupConnector -Identity "Exchange Routing Group (DWBGZMFD01QNBJR)\E2K7CAS-E2K3" -SourceTransportServers "E2K7CAS" -TargetTransportServers "E2K3" Now its working fine Thanks
