Exchagne 2007 Cannot Access Mail Store or Start MS Exchange Information Store after SP3 instllation
Hello, I am having an issue with my Exchange server after a SP3 installation. Any help would be appreciated.
I have a single Exchange Server 2007 installed on a Windows 2008 x64 server.
I just installed SP3 and Update rollup 2 for Exchange Server 2007 SP3.
After the reboot
-
email and OWA access is unavailable
-
The Mail store cannot be mounted.
-
The MS Exchange Information Store will not start.
When I check the event viewer I get the following error messages.
-
Source IIS-W3SVC-WP
-
Event ID: 2268
-
Description:
Could not load all ISAPI filters for site 'DEFAULT WEB SITE'.
Therefore site startup aborted.
And
-
Source IIS-W3SVC-WP
-
Event ID: 2214
-
Description:
The HTTP Filter DLL C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\ClientAccess\owa\auth\owaauth.dll failed to load.
The data is the error.
When I open Exchange Management Console I get the following messages:

This appears to be a known issue after installing sp3 ru2. Here is the current thread that is under investigation by MS. Try some of the workarounds posted here.
