Exch Server 2010 on SBS2011. Cant send outgoing emails, incoming work, get DNS queryfailed error
I opened command prompt on server and used telnet to connect over port 25 to another email server. Wouldnt that mean the dns is actually working? I wonder if this is a reverse lookup issue? Does anyone know of an email server that can be used to test that does not utilize the reverse lookup feature? Any suggestions on troubleshooting to determine if it is for sure the reverse lookup? Thanks. Matt

YOU ARE A GENIUS! Thank you so much. I was about to start throwing things. There was an IP address put in there under Use these DNS servers. I removed that and it is working. Thanks AGAIN!Matt
