Exch 2010 Mailbox Permission
Hi We are having Exchange 2010. Facing some issue in mailbox permission. Two Mailbox are there A and B. I assigned B mailbox full permission to mailbox A. Now iam getting mailbox B in Mailbox A outlook. From Mailbox A's outlook , sending mail by setting B's mail address in from address and its reaching properly. But that sent mail going to mailbox A sent Item not mailbox B sent item. Anbody faced this type of issue...

Are you sure you did not set the 'Forward to ' on mailbox A, or maybe there is a forwarding rule in mailbox A. Giving FullAccess to one user for another does nothing to the mail flow.

No forwarding was done for Mailbox A... Still sent mail of mailbox B going to mailbox A. If iam sending through OWA its going correctly to mailbox B. Any idea

Hi My outlook version is 2010... only 2007 solution is there.. for 2010 its not there, i checked second link also.. thanks The solution is to create multiple Exchange accounts in the profile and add the second mailbox as an additonal one. Hi thanks for your prompt reply. I tried like mentioned in the above link for 2010. Still sentmail going to mailbox A and to mailbox B sent item. thanks

Just to be sure...you did remove the second additonal mailbox in your outlook profile and instead created a new Exchange Account? Also, if it was mapped with Auto-Mapping, remove the fullmailbox permission on Mailbox B. And when you loook at your Account settings, you should see the entries of type "Microsoft Exchange"Martina Miskovic

i) I removed the additional mailbox in outlook profile, after creating exchange account in mail profile additional mailbox coming automatically in outlook. In Account settings only Mailbox A(Microsoft Exchange) only displaying. ii) If iam removing full mailbox permission of mailbox B, that time also same settings dispalying in Account settings. But additional mailbox not coming in outlook. thanks

Hi, Might be a good idea to disable Outlook Auto-Mapping with Full Access Mailboxes (If you have SP2 installed) Example: Add-MailboxPermission -Identity "Mailbox B" -User 'Mailbox A' -AccessRight FullAccess -InheritanceType All -Automapping $falseMartina Miskovic

Yes, make sure that Automapping is not in use. See the information in this blog post It's the msExchDelegateListLink that has to be cleared from Mailbox B.Martina Miskovic
