We are migrating over from exch3003 to exch 2007 i moved several mailboxes without any issue in my user group of second round of mailbox moves i have somwhat of a connector issue the users involved are getting their internal and external emails HOWEVER many if not all replies from sms emails are being held at the exchange 2003 server 's smtp queue example 1 User sends SMTP message to SMS Recipient 1234567890@txt.att.net 2 Recipient replies to user 3 Exch2003 Accepts message 4 Message is held at exchange 2003 Queue this is happening with several sms carriers (att, verizon, tmobile) i cannot force or unfreeze the message -- REMOVE X from Xname AND Xdomain to reply directly STOP SPAM

Do you still see the orphaned exchange 2003 mailboxes sitting on your exchange 2003 server?

Hi All the smtp email is held or sms answer message is held. Do you try to disable exchange 2003 and receive message by exchange 2007 connecter? i do not see these mailboxes on the exch 2003 server the exch 2003 server holds most mailboxes and will continue until most are migrated off the emails sent to these sms recipients are addressed as user@masquardedomain.domain.com vs user@domain.com the masquareddomain is input on the exch 2003 server. my first batch of users ported over to the exch 2007 server sends as user@domain.com.
