Does the issue occur to the EMC/EMS on all exchange servers? If you only have one exchange server, could you install the Management tools on a workstation to test? Please run ExBPA against the server for a health check

How about use the cmdlet below to retrieve the mailboxes on the problematic exchange server? Get-Mailbox -Database ProbelmaticServerName\DatabaseName As for the error Microsoft Filter Pack is not found on server FQDN, its a recommendation (Not required) that you install Microsoft Filter Pack on this so that Exchange Search can index and search Microsoft Office 2007 attachments

Since the management tools work on the workstation, which means that the info on the server can be queried. So, the issue may be caused by the management tools on the problematic exchange server. Please try to reinstall the management package and monitor the application log on the problematic server

Hi All, Thanks for your response Issue got fixed. Issue was there i had scheduled powershell script to check the DB size of the on all mailbox server on daily basis and send the mail. This helped me to keep track the dB growth. As this was scheduled and it was running in the background and powershell was not exiting properly. When i saw the process in the taskmanager i could see 10's of powershell.exe running. I killed all the powershell and issue got fixed Regards, Krishna http://smtpport25.wordpress.com/
