Excell 2013 (365) Scroll Wheel Disabled due to Power Query

Opening the Power Query Workbook Queries Pane within Excel results in a loss of scroll wheel functionality.  You can temporarily remedy this by clicking out of excel and then back in.  However, upon closing and opening the pane within excel the scroll wheel issue will represent itself.

Does anyone have a solution to this issue?  Is it a known bug?

Hi NBShermanator,

Did you mean you can't use scroll wheel as shown in the following figure?

I tested this issue in my own environment, I found if I click the scrollbar first and then use scroll wheel it works fine.

If my understanding incorrect, please provide more information about your issue.

I'm glad to help and follow up your reply.

No, when I'm in the actual sheet, and have elements within the sheet selected I cannot use the scroll wheel.

Thanks,
Kyle

Hi NBShermanator,

If the scroll wheel works fine without Power Query, I suppose you may set any options in Excel caused this issue.

I suggest you rename .xlb file in your computer. Go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel, and rename Excel15.xlb to Excel15.xlb.old, restart Excel and check if it works fine for you.

Please try this method and check if it works for you.

I met the same issue. This should be a bug in Power Query.

The workaround is double click any cell on that table, and then click somewhere or press ESC, and the mouse scroll function will come back.

Having the same issue here as well. This is causing issues in my organization.

Hoping that this is a known bug that will be fixed.
