Excel and Word 2013 reboots when trying to open file from 365 Team site

2 out of my 4 users are having the problem of Excel and Word rebooting when they try to open files stored on out Office 365 team site.

Office 2013, IE 11, Windows 7 on all office machines.

Have tried running both Quick on Online Repairs with no change.

Have uninstalled via the Fix It method and reinstalled from 365 and no fix.

Have checked add-ons in both Excel and Word with nothing to remove.

Have tried Clean boots.  No luck.

Have turned off Virus protection.  No luck.

Have tried accounts on other machines with no issues.

Do not see an conflicting software or add-ons from previous Office installs.

Have IE trusted sites the and such set up just as mine, mine is one that is working without issues.

Any suggestion will be welcomed and tried.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,

According to your description, when you try to open Excel or Word files from Office365 team site they reboot. You have tried several methods to solve your issue, but all failed.

I need more information about your issue, pleas answer these questions:

1. How did you open the files? You download them or you open a blank Excel or Word file and click Open from site? Or other way to open the files?

2. Did you get any error messages befor rebooting? If yes, please post the whole messages here.

3. After rebooting, did these files work fine? Or you still can't open them.

I suggest you when the issue appeared, open Event Viewer to check whether there's any error about the Excel/Word crash issue. Then you can ocollect the event log and provide us with the whole error messages of event log. I can get more information about your issue from this message.

And please be a bit more precise explain your issue so that I can get more accurate solutions to this problem. Im glad to help and follow up your reply.
