Dear All,

We are a team of 8, and we work on same excel files that are located on a shared server folder.

All of excel files contain huge data, mostly coming from other excel files through links. But we experience an important issue very frequently.

To give an example, below is a place that i use one of the files to get data through links.

\\10.111.16.20\Finasns Grup plan\Budget 13\LIVE 062013\Konsolide Dahil\...

But after, the link inside the file turns to one below:

'\\10.111.16.20\LIVE 062013\Konsolide Dahil\...

Meaning that the "Finasns Grup plan\Budget 13" part of the link is lost, therefore the links can not be tracked anymore.

Do you have any idea about it?

Hi,

Not sure why but as a workaround I would suggest all 8 of you map a network drive to the location eg "S:\Kinsolide Dahil".

This would be much more solid and I doubt you would get the same problem.
