Excel Autopublish Web Page to One Drive Caused Excel to Crash

I am using Excel Office 365 and attempting to auto publish web pages to a location on One Drive.  Each time I get a message that Excel has stopped working, Excel then restarts and performs the auto publish and save, close without an error.  However, if File Explorer is open when this is going on, File Explorer locks up and cannot be closed.  In order to get File Explorer to work, it needs to be restarted.

This did not occur when I was publishing to a local drive not associated with One Drive.

Has anyone else run into this issue with auto publishing to One Drive?

The following is what shows up in the application error log

Hi RG,

Based on your description, I want to ask several questions about your issue.

1. Could you tell me how did you >>auto publish web pages to a location on One Drive<<? My understanding is that you saved the Excel file in OneDrive as HTML formatting. Is it correct?

2. You said your issue occurred in Office 365, but depending on your event log messages >>C:\PROGRA~2\MICROS~1\Office14\EXCEL.EXE<<, your issue was about Office 2010. Did you install Office 2010 and Office 365 in your computer at the same time?

I suggest you provide more information about your issue and check the version of Office in your computer.

I'm glad to help and follow up your reply.

Thanks for the help.

1.  Excel permits publishing individual charts as html pages (save as web page, publish chart, autopublish selected).  This creates a web page and a folder for the chart which contains a filelist (xml) and images.

2. Yes, I had a version of 2010 Office Professional installed.  I uninstalled that and reinstalled Office 365.  That appears to have resolved the issue.
