Excel Add-Ins - Load Shared Program Library into current session

Our tech support implemented Office 2013 and it clobbered up an application written in Access i.e. .mdb.

Now the Add-Ins does not automatically load the application defined in the Shared Program Library. We need to click on the Refresh button in Settings to get it back. The help text for the Refresh button says "Load Shared Program Library into current session".

If works previously under Office 2007. Thanks.

Hi samdaga,

Based on your description, did this add-in create by yourself? Or this is a third-part add-in?

If yes, you said this add-in works fine in excel 2007 but not well in excel 2013. As far as I know, if your add-in was created by an older framework such as .net framework 2. It will not work on Excel 2013. I suppose this issue might be caused by compatibility.

If no, please tell what is this add-in? I suggest you enable this add-in manually, and check if it works fine.

If you issue still exists, could you be a bit more precise explain your problem so that we can get more accurate solutions to this problem.

George,

We call this Add-in "MyApps". It is a program written in the old Access - a .mdb file.

Like I said, we need to go to Qe5Dm > Settings and click the Refresh button which actually loads the Shared Program Library into the current session. We define the file path and name of the .mdb program in the Main Program Library of the Settings window.

Does this help?
