Excel 2016 Preview for Mac Issue

Hello! I have a sales team on a mixed Windows/Mac environment.

The team uses a very large Excel spreadsheet to see charts. These charts are based on Pivot tables.

In Windows, both for Excel 2010 and 2013, the slicers for regions and territories for sales generate these charts, but the Mac cannot see the slicers as Excel 2011 for Mac does not support slicers.

Excel 2016 is supposed to, but the behavior isn't the same as on my Excel 2013 in Windows 8. The charts do not update when using the slicers to filter information, even though slicers are supported in 2016 Preview.

Anyone have any advice or suggestion on how to get around this or get this to work, aside from converting these users to Windows or using a Windows VM?

Thank you for any information you can provide.

Hi,

As you said, the slicers is a new feature in Office 2016 Mac Preview, we can see it here:

http://blogs.office.com/2015/03/05/office-2016-mac-preview/

But, we support Office for Windows in the current forum, and we are lack of skill and environment of Office for mac. Thus, we can't provide the suggestion to work around your issue.

I suggest you post the question in Office for Mac preview forum:
