Excel 2013 pivot table can't refresh in Excel 2010

Hi

The pivot tables I created in Excel 2013 can't be refreshed if Excel 2010 is used. In Excel 2010 the refresh button is grey out and data range is also grey out and cannot be changed.

All data reside in the same file with no external connection or linkage.

I don't want to down grade the file to 2007 version since I have built formula such as IFERROR that will work in 2010 and not 2007.

Any quick resolution?

Hi,

Based on my research, it can refresh the Pivot Table with Excel 2010, but in my test workbook, there is no formulas. And the formula you built is using VBA code or something else? Try to remove the formula to check whether the issue is occurs. If the issue doesn't occur after remove the formula, then this issue seems to be caused by the formula. Give us the detail steps to reproduce the issue or just share the workbook on https://skydrive.live.com/ (remove the sensitive information)

Dear MS guys.

I'm having the same problem. Did you get EI456's Workbook?

But, my problem shows a message error that the pivot table were develop on a recent office version, and cannot refresh the table.

I create the pivot table on office 2013 and I'm trying to open it and refresh the data on office 2010.

Could you help me please.

Thanks.
