I have a PowerPivot chart and I cannot reformat the date from "mm/dd/yyyy" to display anything else.  I have changed the format in power pivot I have tried to format Axos selection and changed the date format there.  Of those options the format doesnt change even if I select Refresh.  From the Pivot options I have also tried to select "Field Options" but there are no options to switch format there. Please help.

Create another date Calculated Column in your Date Table
with the formula =Format([Date],"mydateformat")
and use that as your Row Field in the PivotTable/Chart.
