Hi All,

I am using Office 2013 and recently I am experiencing and issue with powerpivot.

When I create a new Excel file, I can see the powerpivot tab on the menu, however, when I try to use it, all icons are greyed out, so there is no way to use powerpivot.

Even unstall/install doesn't make sense.

Check to see whether you have set the default file format to other format such as Excel 97-2003 Workbook.

Go to File -> Options -> Save -> Save file in this format: to check.

If the file format is not the issue, then try to repair Office to check whether the issue is caused by corrupted installation.
