Excel 2013

I am currently working on a spreadsheet which contains two columns with "IF" functions and in the third column, looking to use the "max" function on the two "IF"cells. I cannot get the "max" function to work. I have tried clearing formats and with no prevail?

Can you help?

What are the IF functions you are using? They need to return numbers, not strings....

Hi SaraBeal,

Did you mean you didn't get the correct result, or you're not getting results?

I suggest you try to test this file in another user's computer, and check if it works fine.

It's recommended to download and install Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT), which is developed by Microsoft Support teams. Once the tool is installed, you can run it at any time to scan for hundreds of known issues in Office programs.
