An installed version of Office 2007 Compatibility pack can give this kind of problems.

Can you test it on an other windows user?

Can you test it with virusscanner disabled?

Hi,

Based on the >>faulting module name: mso.dll<<, this issue is usually caused by the add-ins. Please try the following steps:

  • Unload all add-ins (uncheck them).
  • rename Excel 14.xlb. Path: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\Excel14.xlb

Then, we also try the method that provided by one of customer, I copied here:

===

I also removed all my plugins for Excel from the registry.

  • I deleted all the keys under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\<version>\Excel where version was 8.0,9.0,10.0,11,0,12.0,13.0,14.0,15.0.
  • I deleted all the keys under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins
  • I deleted all the keys under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins

My assumption over the addins is that I can put them back if I need them.

Dear Sir,

I have used the Configuration Analyzer Tool - OffCAT. Everything regarding Excel is OK.

I am using Add-ins but there are no problems with Add-ins in the OffCat report.

There is a message that "Hyperlinks are not working in Outlook.

All updates are installed for Windows 7 and for Office.

But the problem still exist.

Could you please help me to get a crash dump and analyze it?
