Excel 2010 GUI Issues in Page View

Having issues with a client in Excel 2010 and 2007 Page View only.

As you can see below, the text overlaps other rows and that the overall page layout is not visible correct.

Why not use Normal Mode?

Why does it need to be in Page Layout View - because it is used in presentations and the client needs to show the various headers and footers to the auditors for the pages to be printed.

What updates have been installed?

Office 2010 SP2 and 2007 SP3 has been installed on 2 separate computers and both have the same issue. All Office updates has been installed as at 2013-08-15.

What is the System Spec?

I initially thought it would be graphics, however the hardware is Xeon E5620 with 12GB RAM on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with Quadro 4000 running nVidia driver v311.06 (not the latest however fairly new). The other is an i5, 4GB RAM, GeForce 560GTX and does the same thing in Page View.

Any help in resolving this issue would be great as it is very annoying for the client.

Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that the file displays incorrectly in page layout.
Do you test the other files in the two computers?
If the other files display normally, I think you could check the file.
Please refer to the following link:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/excel-help/use-page-layout-view-to-fine-tune-pages-before-printing-HA010021563.aspx
If the other files display incorrectly, I suppose the issue may be caused by the printing machines .
I notice that you installed all the Offices updates and the video card driver.
I recommend you check the printing drive.
And you also may check the papers which suit for the file.

Hi George,

It as affecting all files on both systems - however there is a third computer that appears to "not be affected" and is a Quadro/Xeon combination also with latest Windows/nVidia updates.

However, I will check print drivers and get back to you.

Thank you for your reply George.

Hi George,

After checking the system, it appears that the nVidia were not updated as the client expected and were versions before 314.xx. We manually downloaded and installed the latest being 320.4x and it fixed the issue.

Thank you for your input George.
