Excel 2010 Access Issue

Our company is using MS Office 2010.

And in my laptop I have protected an excel file with windows authentication (finger swipe).

Yesterday our system admin has changed the domain log-ins due to a technical issue & he has reset all our passwords.

Now when I swipe to open the file, it says incorrect password.

I tried to type in the password & it says incorrect.

And the file is not accessible.

Is there a way I could access the file?

The file is of most importance & I really need access for this one.

I am the author of the file also.

Please let me know what has happened & what needs to be done.

I could share the file if required.

Thank you.

Hi,

As far as I know, if we have lost the password of Excel file, we can't decrypt it without password. Based on the situation now >>Yesterday our system admin has changed the domain log-ins due to a technical issue & he has reset all our passwords.<< I recommend you connect your IT admin to get the new password.
