Excel 2010 - Save as web page saving .jpg files as .emz files instead..

All,

I'm getting some odd behavior across the organization in all our Excel 2010 .xlsx or .xls files - when we do a save-as and select Save As type - Web Page (.html, .htm) previously if we had .jpg files they would be nicely exported to a file folder of the same name as the Excel document - but now when I do this - the embedded .jpg are all being saved as .emz files and are not usable - as when I click any of the .emz files I get an error .emz is not a valid win 32 application.

In Excel - the .jpg have been inserted using the Insert -> Object -> Create from File -> Browse method it appears as they are being displayed when I click one of the files as =EMBED("Packager Shell Object","")

Therefore - how can I best save the .xlxs so that the .jpg files that have been inserted are not converted to .emz files.

OK - many thanks - what's odd is that it appears in the Dec-Jan time frame - I could save as the webpage type and all the files if they were .jpg appeared as the images in the proper folder that was created. What happens now is that most of the images are .emz or .png and the .png ones sometimes show the image and sometimes show just the thumbnail of the image it appears. I will guess it was either a patch or the way users are inserting the images perhaps.
