We're using MS-Office 2010 Pro Multilingual.

As languages, we're using English, French, Italian, etc...

Our MS-Office is in English by default, but when we go into the Add-Ins of Excel, we have all in English less the SOLVER add-in which for some reason is in Italian.

It says: "Componente aggiuntivo Risolutore".

When we enable it, the add-in is really in Italian language.

So we figure out by replacing the SOLVER.XLAM and SOLVER32.DLL files with an English version to get the add-in in English.

The add-in is now in English when you use it, but in the Excel Options, the SOLVER add-in is still labeled in Italian !!!

Is there any cleaner solution to get this running as should be, labeled in English?

This is a known issue, Excel Add-Ins will always appear in the language that was installed last.
For example, if the last installed language is Italian and Office interface is English, and then Excel has a English UI, but Excel add-ins language is Italian. The add-ins language does not switch if the user changes the Office UI language.

To workaround this issue, we may uninstall the add-in feature for all languages except the language that is to be used.
