I have been running Office 2003 for several years, without any problems, until last month. The only software changes that I have made during that time are automatic updates from McAfee and required updates from MS. Everything in the suite works fine, except for Excel. When I try to open it, my system begins to try an install, but then prompts me for the original source, but it came preloaded, so I cannot do so. This has happened several times and I have gotten around it by doing a backup to a prior date. However, this is clearly not a solution, and trying to find direct support from MS is like getting an audience with the Pope! If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Thanks
