ExSetupUI.exe stops working when installing Exchange Server 2007 Standard with SP1
I trying to install Exchange Server 2007 Standard with SP1 I get the following Error: ExSetupUI.exe has stopped working. Problem details: Description: Stopped working Problem signature: Problem Event Name: CLR20r3 Problem Signature 01: exsetupui.exe Problem Signature 02: 8.1.240.6 Problem Signature 03: 474b7502 Problem Signature 04: ExSetupUI Problem Signature 05: 8.0.0.0 Problem Signature 06: 474b7502 Problem Signature 07: 104 Problem Signature 08: 6 Problem Signature 09: System.TypeInitialization OS Version: 6.0.6002.2.2.0.272.7 Locale ID: 2055 I wanted to install Exchange in a Hyper-V box running Windows Server 2008 Standard x64 (with all updates). The DC runs in another box (Windows Server 2008 Enterprise R2 x64). The Hyper-V host runs on Windows Server 2008 Enterprise R2 x64) I followed all the steps to install the necessary prerequisites as detailed in http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb691354.aspx . Yes, please try to post the detail setup log here for further troubleshootings.Besides,please note that Exchange 2007 SP1 RU9 and SP2 are supported against Windows Server 2008 R2 Active Directory servers. In addition, Exchange 2007 SP1 RU9 and SP2 are supported in Active Directory environments whose domain/forest functional levels have been raised to Windows Server 2008 R2.
