ExPDA version 14.0.650.23 not detecting windows 2000 domain / forest funtional level
Running the ExPDA tool in an environment that I already identified operating at Win 2000 domain and forest functional level, i wanted to see if it would throw up a critical red x and detect the fuctional levels. It doesn't seem to detect it on any of the tabs (criticl, all, informational). It detects the Exchange org running in mixed mode and flag the requirement for native but not the domain/forest levels. Can anyone else confirm? Chris

Hi EXPDA 14.650.23 provides a detailed report that will alert you if there are any issues within your organization, which could prevent you from deploying Exchange 2010. Windows 2000 schema doesn’t support exchange 2010. Terence, thanks for the reply and please don't take this the wrong way but clearly a Windows 2000 domain / forest funtional level will prevent an Exchange 2010 deployment from happening. The tool is already reporting a great deal of AD information, why can't it raise a flag on the domain/forest functional level if it doesn't meet requirements for deployment? I guess if it's purely focused on the Exchange org, I see your point so if its expected behavior then I'll close this thread. Thanks again. Chris
