ExFolders - PFDAVAdmin for Exchange 2013

Hi guys

I used to support Exchange 2007 and the PFDAVAdmin tool proved invaluable in managing public folder permissions. Since Moving to Exchange 2013 I cant seem to find a working GUI/tool to do this. I have attempted to get the latest version of ExFolders working but doesn't seem to want to play ball.

I have read the readme carefully and placed the exe in the \bin folder on the Exchange server as well as running the reg file to sign the application but I keep getting:

Description:
  Stopped working

Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
  Application Name: ExFolders.exe
  Application Version: 14.17.458.0
  Application Timestamp: 537d6d55
  Fault Module Name: KERNELBASE.dll
  Fault Module Version: 6.3.9600.17415
  Fault Module Timestamp: 54505737
  Exception Code: e0434f4d
  Exception Offset: 0000000000008b9c
  OS Version: 6.3.9600.2.0.0.400.8
  Locale ID: 2057

Has anyone got any suggestions on how I can get this working?

Hi,

PFDAVAdmin is no longer valid to access Exchange 2013 public folders or their settings.

However the best way to configure Public Folder permissions is Powershell, you still can use Exchange Admin Center for manage PFs in GUI mode: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/JJ651147%28v=EXCHG.150%29.aspx

Hi,

i think EXfolders wont support Exchange 2013 public folder, its only for exchange 2010. Once you migrate public folders from 2007/2010 to 2013 Exfolders wont work.
