Ex2010: adding a group to public folder permissions, members aren't visible
I need to block some users from opening some public folders. I have a USG that has all these users in it. I've mail enabled that group in EMC, but when I go to view members of this group in EMC, I only see one member there. If I attempt to add any of these users to the group, it says they're already a member of that group. Any ideas?

I want to give that group NONE access to the public folder, so in a way, yes, I want to deny them rights. If you need that group don't have permission on one public folder, you can use this command to do that: Add-publicfolderclientpermission -identity "\publicfolder name" -Accessrights None -user groupname You can know more detail from this document: Add Permissions for Client Users to Access Public Folder Content http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998834.aspx Thanks, Evan Liu TechNet Subscriber Support in forum If you have any feedback on our support, please contacttnmff@microsoft.com Evan Liu TechNet Community Support

Get-DistributionGroupMember -identity groupname If you can see all the members, this means users have been added to the group.
