I'm new to exchange web services and having trouble with rooms in calendar.

I'm trying to get the rooms using the exchange service like,

EmailAddressCollection roomsList = service.GetRoomLists();

but the above line just provides empty collection.

does ews managed api supports rooms ??

Try creating a Room List first https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee633471%28v=exchg.141%29.aspx  (wait at least 15 minutes for replication) and then retry your code.
