Event IDs 507, 508, 509, and 510
Hello,Windows Server 2003 in two-node failover cluster. Exchange 2003 Enterprise. EMC SAN Storage on Fiber disks (RAID 5).After moving the storage groups, transaction logs, SMTP, and other Exchange cluster files to drives on a different SAN storage, I started receiving errors 505 thru 510 indicating request to write to a specfic Exchange related file succeeded but took an abnormal amount of time. Research points to "faulty" disk hardware or incorrectly configured storage. I have checked the hardware and verified the storage configuration. Nothing seems to be in error. Has anyone had similar problems and if so, what was your solution? Many thanks,CC

Hi Per your description, after you deploy the cluster successfully, and then you move the storage groups, transaction logs, SMTP, and other Exchange cluster files? Per my known, there is no issue if you move move the storage groups, transaction logs, SMTP, but what type Exchange cluster files did you moved? may be the issue related with that. You could test it by moving it orignal local. About how to deploy the exchange cluster you could refer to below: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123612(EXCHG.65).aspx If I misunderstand your issue, please tell me! Regards! gavin
