Event ID 6009
All,I have been looking everywhere for info on this error, Event ID 6009 on our Exchange Server 2003, and can't find too much info on it. I have about 6 user accounts that are giving me the below error. The 6 user email accounts have been removed or disabled. I don't have a virus scan running. in addition, f:\tisp2\transmt\....... this directory do not exists on my exchange server... Categorizer encountered a hard error while processing a message. While processing user 'X500:CN=LdapUser,OU=Users,OU=HQ,DC=MyDomain,DC=com', the function 'CCatAddr:HrAddNewAddressesFromICatItemAttr' called 'HrAddAddresses' which returned error code '0xc004055a' (). ( f:\tisp2\transmt\src\phatq\cat\src\ccataddr.cpp@1459 )Thank you

Hello, Have you enabled Diagnostics Logging for MSExchangeTransport for troubleshooting any transport issues? This would normally come if you have increased Diagnostics Logging and can be ignored until you get any problem for those accounts. You can decrease or disable the diagnostics logging also to stop receiving this error. How to troubleshoot for Exchange Server 2003 transport issues http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821910

I found the issue. someone mentioned Dist list. That was the issue. I had a Dist List that what configued to block users sending to domains. once I removed them, the error did not come back.thank you all.

Hi, 0xc004055a = ERROR_RXACT_COMMIT_FAILURE. Please check if mails are sent to global distribution groups in a Multiple Domain environment. In multiple domain environments, it is recommended to use universal distribution groups. Arethese 6 users in the distribution group? BTW, is there any NDR?
