Event ID 4020 - MSExchange ADAccess - Process w3wp.exe (OWA) Got unhandled exception in ProvisioningCache activity Expired organizations cleaner

I've noticed this error message a couple of times per day:

Process w3wp.exe (OWA [sometimes this is ECP instead of OWA]) (PID=13832). Got unhandled exception in ProvisioningCache activity Expired organizations cleaner, the activity is terminated. Exception: Thread was being aborted..

New install of Exchange 2013 CU9 on 2012R2 currently coexisting with one Exchange 2007 server. Everything seems to be working OK, just wondering if I need to do something to address this error (which I can't seem to find any information about online).

Anyone have any thoughts about this one?

Hi,

Basic on the error message, it seems that ECP run error in Provisioning Cache.

For your question, please try below command to resets the provisioning cache for ECP and clear all cache keys:

Reset-ProvisioningCache -Application ECP -Server mail.domain.local -GlobalCache

More details about Reset-ProvisioningCache, please refer to: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj218655(v=exchg.150).aspx
