Event 9667 Error on Exchange Server
My environment is 4 servers, 1 Terminal Server (Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition), 2 Domain Controllers (Windows 2003 Standard Edition) and 1 Exchange Server. Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition SP2 running on Windows 2003 Standard Edition SP2. I also have Blackberry Professional Server 4.1 running on the Exchange Server with 15 phones. Last November (2009), I had the same error. I moved all mailboxes to a new database and the problem went away. The problem has now resurfaced about 5 months later. The user base at this site is about 50 users. This problem seemed to surface after the Blackberry Professional Server was installed but I have no way of knowing if it is the cause. Not sure where to go from here.

Have you seen? http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb851495(EXCHG.80).aspx Events 9666, 9667, 9668, and 9669 Received When Named Properties or Replica Identifiers Are Depleted for An Exchange Database You do not necessarily need to move mailboxes, it depends on the exact error- you can raise the allowed property creation quota. Can you post the exact error message?

Thanks for the reply, I did read the article you referred to, I used it initially as the reason for moving the mailboxes. I ran the performance monitor and linked to the properties indicated in this article. At this time it just shows the process at 100 constantly because the tables are maxed out. The 9667 error is as follows: Failed to create a new named property for database "First Storage Group"\Mailbox Store (EXSVR)" because the number of named properties reached the quota limit (8192). User attempting to create the named property: "SYSTEM" Named property GUID: 00020386-0000-0000-c000-000000000046 Named property name/id: "X-Qhucbf"

Ok, I would try raising the named props quota first following and test: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/820379 You dont have to move mailboxes unless the named props are completely exhausted when it hits 32,000. By the way, this is a real good reason to upgrade to 2007/2010. Named properties become almost a non-issue with the newer versions. Great, I will try raising the number by another 8192. I have told the customer that this might possibly mean we need to upgrade to Exchange 2007. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for the help.
