Errors to access Calendar in Exchange 2010 environment
Situation: We are running Exchange 2010. Only one user has this issue. 1. When the user creates an appointment and uses scheduling assistant to send it to another user in Outlook 2010, he receives this message: "This meeting is not in the Calendar folder for this account. Responses to this meeting will not be tallied". 2. When he opens the Calendar in OWA, he receives "A Web browser error occurred" 3. When the user creates an appointment and uses scheduling assistant to send it to another user in Outlook 2010, he receives this message:"Outlook Web App has detected the following: - The subject isn't specified and - The location isn't specified. Do you want to send the meeting request anyway?" The screenshots can be found here: http://www.chicagotech.net/msapps/outlook8.htm Only one use has this issue and we have tried the same user on different computers and OS.Bob Lin, MVP, MCSE & CNE Networking, Internet, Routing, VPN Troubleshooting on http://www.ChicagoTech.net How to Setup Windows, Network, VPN & Remote Access on http://www.howtonetworking.com

1. When the user creates an appointment and uses scheduling assistant to send it to another user in Outlook 2010, he receives this message: "This meeting is not in the Calendar folder for this account. Responses to this meeting will not be tallied". Is it a public folder/Shared calendar the problematic user wants to create meeting on? or you use the archive mailbox for the problematic user? 2. When he opens the Calendar in OWA, he receives "A Web browser error occurred" Please click "Show report" to display more detail message. 3. When the user creates an appointment and uses scheduling assistant to send it to another user in Outlook 2010, he receives this message:"Outlook Web App has detected the following: - The subject isn't specified and - The location isn't specified. Do you want to send the meeting request anyway?" It appears to be normal, because in Exchange 2010 the system will verify the meeting request Subject and the Location field when the request it sent. If it is empty, the warning message will be popped up for double confirmation. . Additionally, can the problematic user create meeting request with the same steps in OWA?
