Error when trying to reinstall Client Access role
because I had a problem with a dll that was corupted and coulden't been enymore used by OWA, I decided to reinstall Client Access role. So, I'veuninstalled the CA role using setup /mode:uninstall /role:CA without problems, but wen I'm trying to reinstall it I have the folowing error. The samewith the graphical wizard.

Download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility using the link below:

Clear the following instances of Exchange 2007 using the utility:
1.Microsoft Exchange Server
2. Microsoft Exchange 2007 Enterprise Anti-Spam Signature
3. Microsoft Exchange 2007 Enterprise Block List Update
4. Microsoft Exchange 2007 Standard Anti Spam-filter Update
5. Microsoft Full Test Indexing Engine for Exchange
Set the Exchange 2007 services to Automatic in services snap-in if they are not set to Automatic

Is this for real? Has anyone tried this. I am having the same problem with CAS.I cannot install it or remove it.

You will receive this error if you try to reinstall the role from your original installation files/CD after you have applied SP1 to your server. If that's the case, the solution is toreinstall the rolefrom the SP1 setup.
