Error when creating distribution list - A Proxy Generator DLL on server XXXX could not be found or failed to initialize (single server not cluster)
I found a lot of answers for this error message when a distribution list that has been migrated from an older version of Exchange has an ilegal character in its alias but I am having the same message when trying to create a new distribution list from within the EMC.This was a migration from Exchange 2003Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, Please try to restart the Microsoft Exchange System Attendant Service. If the problem still persists, then please try to run ExBPA and then post the report here. Also please follow the steps in article below to increase the diagnostic logging for MSExchangeAL, MSADAccess,MSExchangeSA to High. Then please try to create a distribution group again. After that, please check the event log and post the detail error(warning) event here. We have already restart the server and lots of other changes but no result. Surpirsingly that there is no event id generated for the same.
