Then we have DOMAIN-UK and DOMAIN-SE. I've renamed all the Administrator account in each domain so they are different.

Request more info, are your domain names the same except for TLD (ie.. .com. net)?I have run into a simular problem, and am testing in virtual if this is the case.Scenerio:I have renamed all my admins local and domain. I am using two domains in the same forest with identical domain names with the exception of the TLD. They also long names, (possible issue?) 15 charaters in length not including the TLD. I am removing second domain from the forest and adding a new domain with a completly different name. Will keep you posted on results.

I had the same error.I was using the Administrator account to do prepare /p or setup /PrepareAD when i got the error. (in a lab env)I have created another user account and added it to the Schema Admins and Enterprise Admins. This has resolved my error and the setup /p has succeded. Even though you have renamed the Admin account for other two Domains it might still not work. You can create another Account in the same Domain where you have Exchange and then give the necessary permissions to making it as an Exchange Admin Account. Using this Account you should be able to upgrade the Exchange from SP1 to SP2.Ashwin Raj
