Error opening other users folder -- inbox folder cannnot be found
We had a situation here where a user needed to be able to get into another users email box (the second user was let go and permission was retrieved from upper management). I went into the users account and the exchange advanced tab and clicked on mailbox rights. I added user A as read only, then full user, etc. each time I got the same error on their outlook client and mine, because I tested with my account also. User A is using outlook 2003 and I am using outlook 2007. The error when opening other users folder is cannot display the folder. The inbox folder cannot be found We are using exchange 2k3 also. One of the links that I followed is : http://www.petri.co.il/grant_full_mailbox_rights_on_exchange_2000_2003.htm And: http://searchexchange.techtarget.com/originalContent/0,289142,sid43_gci1119803,00.html There were many others, but none have been able to help. Finaly we reset the users account and had their account share control to the other user, but that is not what I want to have to do. What am I doing wrong?

It can take some time for those permissions to "sink in" (I don't know why). restarting the information store service forces this process to hurry up.
