Error on IE8 with OAW Exchange 2003: cannot change follow up flag and get User Agent error on use of ctrl_view.js
I am on a Windows XP machine (SP3) using IE 8 and accessing our corporate email by way of Outlook Web Access. When I try to change the status of a follow up flag by clicking on it nothing happens and I see an error appear in the status bar. The error is this: User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; chromeframe/15.0.874.121; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E; InfoPath.1; BRI/1) Timestamp: Thu, 1 Dec 2011 16:17:01 UTC Message: Object required Line: 1064 Char: 2 Code: 0 URI: https://phsexchweb.partners.org/exchweb/6.5.7651.60/controls/ctrl_view.js Again, this is IE8 and there is a Microsoft page that explains that for historical reasons IE identifies itself as Mozilla.
