Error installing Exchange 2010 on Virtual Disk
I have a Virtual Server, 2008 R2, Installed/Activated. I am trying to install Exchange Server 2010 SP1 on it. When I capture and run the file, I get a window that says an error has occurred in the script on this page Line 262 Char: 4 Unspecified Error Code: 0 URL: file:///c:/users/Administrator/AppData/Local/Temp/default.htm I have tried to YES and NO to continue. The Icons/and Links are not working. I have also tried to run Setup from a command prompt (As Administrator) . Not sure how to get this program to run now. Ideas?

I dont' think you have installed all pre-requisits before installing exchange 2010. Install .Net as showing with exchange installation screen and after that follow Terence Yu's instructions to execute below cmdlets in powershell. Add-WindowsFeature NET-Framework, RSAT-ADDS, Web-Server, Web-Basic-Auth, Web-Windows-Auth, Web-Metabase, Web-Net-Ext, Web-Lgcy-Mgmt-Console, WAS-Process-Model, RSAT-Web-Server, Web-ISAPI-Ext, Web-Digest-Auth, Web-Dyn-Compression, NET-HTTP-Activation, RPC-Over-HTTP-Proxy, Web-WMI Restart Installation of pre-requisits are based on server role so please check on below Microsoft KB before proceeding with installation. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb691354.aspx

Hi Do you have anything update on your issue ? I had a problem with the original VM, the bootmgr failed, aso I created a new VM. For some reason the NIC will not identify the network, so cannot get it into the domain. As soon as I resolve that, I will get back to the suggestions mentioned. Thanks for following up!
