Error in Accessing Exchange Webservice.asmx (OOF Message doesn't work from Outlook 2007 but ok from OWA)
Hi All, I'm having this problem after I ran test-outlookwebservices cmdlet, and it seems that the webservice page could not be displayed even on my Internet Explorer window. here is the details. Id : 1013 Type : Error Message : When contacting https://ExServ07.domain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx received the error The request failed with HTTP status 403: Forbidden. Id : 1016 Type : Error Message : [EXCH]-Error when contacting the AS service at https://ExServ07.domain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx. The elapsed time was 78 milliseconds. Id : 1003 Type : Information Message : About to test AutoDiscover with the e-mail address administrator@domain.com. Id : 1007 Type : Information Message : Testing server ExServ07.domain.com with the published name https://ExServ07.domain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx & https://ExServ07.domain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx. Id : 1019 Type : Information Message : Found a valid AutoDiscover service connection point. The AutoDiscover URL on this object is https://ExServ07.domain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml. Id : 1006 Type : Information Message : The Autodiscover service was contacted at https://ExServ07.domain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml. Id : 1015 Type : Success Message : [EXCH]-Successfully contacted the OAB service at https://ExServ07.domain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx. The elapsed time was 0 milliseconds. Hello Albert, What authentication is set on EWS virtual directory on CAS server? Make sure that Anonymous is disabled and Integrated Windows Authentication is selected. IIS - EWS Properties - Directory Security - Authentication and access control - Make sure anonymous disable and Integrated Windows enabled.
