I am running Exchange 2003 Ent on Windows 2003 Ent. When I attempt to designate one of my servers as the front end server, I get "An unexpected error occurred 8000ffff Microsoft Exchange Management". The servers are not clustered, and I can designate any other others in that domain to be a front end server, it's just that one server I get the error on. However it is the server that has the least amount of storage and I don't want to use one of the other servers, I want to use them for mailboxes. Any idea as to the problem? Thanks!
