Error Encountered when upgrading from exchange 2000 to exchange 2007
Hi,My Company currently running on Exchange 2000 and would like to upgrade to Exchange 2007, i have run Setup /PrepareLegacyExchange PermissionsSetup /SchemaSetup /PrepareADafter that, i install using exchange 2007 setup wizard and setup the mail flow. The installation was completely successfully without any error but when everytime i run the Exchange Management Console, i will get this error msg "Index was outside the bounds of the array" and under "Server Configuration", i got the same message "Your Exchange organization has no servers with the XXX server role installed.when i refer to the installation log, i found 3 error which is[ERROR] The operation could not be performed because object 'XXX' could not be found on domain controller 'XX'(i have checked my dns server and found my server name there. another place that i have checked is AD Site, i found that my server under server object)[ERROR] Process execution failed with exit code 1010.[ERROR] Process execution failed with exit code 1010.Anyone have idea what is happening, i had uninstall and reinstall for a couples of time but keep on stuck on the same problem.

when you installed exchange, did you do it via commandline? if so, its not as intuitive, but you need to specify the roles you want to install. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997281.aspx Code BlockSetup.com [/mode:<setup mode>] [/roles:<server roles to install>] [/OrganizationName:<name for the new Exchange organization>] [/TargetDir:<target directory>] [/SourceDir:<source directory>][/UpdatesDir:<directory from which to install updates>] [/DomainControler <FQDN of domain controller>] [/AnswerFile <filename>] [/DoNotStartTransport] [/EnableLegacyOutlook] [/LegacyRoutingServer] [/EnableErrorReporting] [/NoSelfSignedCertificates] [/AdamLdapPort <port>] [/AdamSslPort <port>] [/AddUmLanguagePack:<UM language pack name>] [/RemoveUmLanguagePack:<UM language pack name>] [/NewProvisionedServer] [/RemoveProvisionedServer] [/ForeignForestFQDN] [/ServerAdmin <user or group>] [/NewCms] [/RemoveCms] [/RecoverCms] [/CmsName:<name>] [/CmsIPAddress:<IP address>] [/CmsIPv4Addresses] [/CmsIPv4Networks] [/CmsIPv6Networks] [/CmsSharedStorage] [/CmsDataPath:<CMS data path>] [/UpgradeCms][/?]

I noticed that /preparedomain was not in your list. Was that run? i know it sounds simple, but you may want to run it again.
