Error :--------------NDR 5.2.1
Dear All, i am getting a strange problem frommy exchange syetem it has an cluster (active\passive) if my exchange on node one all are fine when i moved to node 2 i am getting lots of errors like...... Event Type:ErrorEvent Source:ESEEvent Category:General Event ID:604Date:8/5/2007Time:7:14:06 AMUser:N/AComputer:EMAILNODE2Description:Information Store (2704) HQ: Locale ID 0x00000401 (Arabic (Saudi Arabia) Arabic) is either invalid or not installed on this machine. For more information, click http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp. when i checked language settings i did`t find ant difference from node1 but this error keeps coming all time. and one more error is that some mails are not delivering to users with NDR ----5.2.1...... see the follwing error.... The following recipient(s) cannot be reached: JUWAIHEL on 8/5/2007 7:59 AM The message reached the recipient's e-mail system, but delivery was refused. Attempt to resend the message. If it still fails, contact your system administrator. <emailserv.abc..com.kw #5.2.1> when i checked in microsoft site it says this error wil come for disabled accouts but its not true in this case..... requesting you all advise me how do i solve this two isses.... Do you get the NDR's when you run Exchange on the other node? my thinking here is that when Exchange sends out a mail it is the node's IP that shows not the virtual IP set up in the cluster. Some system check servernames/IP/DNS to be the same and when you run Exchange on node A it may be OK but when you run Exhcange on node B it could be wrong.

NO sir i am not getting it when i run node1 whats why my strange when my exchange runung on node1 all are smooth when i move to node2 so may problems one is NDR---WITH 5.2.1 and one more stange some of users are notgetting their mails in inbox see the attached file for more info....thanks...rk.

I think its because when sending from Node 1, NAT rule in firewall is correct with reverse DNS etc. but when sending from Node 2, there is a different NAT rule in firewall and reverse DNS does not match so the remote systrem denies the connection and youusers get a NDR. can you check your firewall to se what the NAT rules say
